Simulacrum Magazine - March 2023 - 64 pages
''Kinship, making kin, and unkinning, networks we wish to strengthen, the bridges we want to burn. To re[kin]dle is to relight a fire, but also to revitalise, reinvent, rejuvenate, regenerate what was lost in the flames. It is to burn as much as it is to nurture. A blaze and a spark which nestles itself between concepts that seem far apart. Like fire, restoring a bond is unstable and elusive work – we may get burnt, we may also heal or both. It is time to ask the question: what do we want to bring back and what do we want to set on fire?'
